Bullets to Bandages II picks up where Bullets to Bandages I leave off and emphasizes the principles of triage and mass casualty incidents.

Prerequisites:

This is an intermediate level class. The student needs to have completed Bullets and Bandages I and Handgun 3 or equivalent course.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training.

Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

Equipment:

Unit specific IFAK, litters, and medical components
Note-taking material holster and magazine pouch that will retain your equipment when moving

Protection:

Eyes and ears protection will be provided.

Outline/Content:

  • Utilize field-expedient items to treat injuries
  • Demonstrate basic principles of CQB
  • Monitor and reassess patients in a prolonged care setting
  • Demonstrate understanding of the basic principles of “Care Under Fire”
  • etc.
