Advanced Tactical Pistol

The Advanced Tactical Pistol course is designed for anyone who carries a pistol for work or protection

This three-day program includes two days of live-fire training, plus a third day of force-on-force training.

Prerequisites:

This is not a basic class. At a minimum, students should have taken a basic handgun safety course and have experience with their firearm and gear.
We expect students to have experience shooting safely inline, including loading, reloading, and drawing/shooting from the holster.

Shooters with IDPA, USPSA, NRA Action Pistol, 3-Gun, law enforcement, and military experience meet the program prerequisites.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training.

Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering. 

Protection:

Pistol with a minimum of three magazines and speed loader
Holster suitable for concealment

  • Live fire training
  • Cover and concealment
  • Unconventional shooting positions
  • What to do/say after having to use deadly force 
  • Flashlight techniques and low light shooting
  • Force-on-force training
  • Contact distance close quarters shooting techniques 
  • A movement to maximize survivability in a lethal force scenario
  • Single hand shooting and manipulations
  • Shooting in and around cars
