Vehicle CQB Strategies Instructor

The VCQBS program has become the standard within law enforcement and the military for vehicle-based engagements.
This course will be including night shooting .

Students will receive a full instructor packet to include extensive lesson plans, a PowerPoint, video, and relevant studies.

Prerequisites:

This course is restricted to current law enforcement and current military only.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training.

Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

Equipment:

Handgun with at least 3 magazines (5 if single stack) and magazine pouch.
The holster must attach via the belt (paddle holsters are not allowed).

Outline/Content:

  • Classroom portions will include video diagnostics, statistics, tactics, and the science behind why we win and lose around vehicles.
  • Critical weapon employment while engaging threats in, around, from, over, and under vehicles with a heavy emphasis on problem-solving. 
  • Lighting principles and threat assessment all play a major factor in this course.
  • A non-lethal training curriculum to advance their past static square range tactics.
  • Live ballistic demos with a variety of ammunition will be conducted as the class explores ballistic deflection, deformation, penetration, and terminal effect in direct correlation to various vehicle mediums.
  • Common avenues of attack by motivated threats in and around vehicles.
