Shotgun Instructor

Candidates will demonstrate proper application of the fundamentals of shooting and weapon manipulations through a series of challenging evaluation courses adhering to specific target standards established by the SECTOR 6 Academy.

Students will receive a full instructor packet to include extensive lesson plans, a PowerPoint, video, and relevant studies.

Prerequisites:

This course is designed for the current or prospective agency firearms instructor. You must have documentation of the successful completion of an entry-level pistol skills program from a law enforcement agency or training facility.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training.

Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

Note: Some classes are restricted to Armed Professionals only. Please see the schedule for details.

Estimated round count: 50 rounds buckshot (000, 00 or #4), 50 rounds rifle slug, 300 rounds field loads/birdshot (#7 1/2, 8, or 9), 100 rounds handgun
