Rifle Fundamentals is for the new rifle owner or those interested in learning to shoot modern sporting rifles.

This course provides the student with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle, load, fire, and unload common types of rifles.

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, students will be awarded a Rifle Fundamentals Certification.

Prerequisites:

None.

Protection:

Eyes and ears protection will be provided.

  • Basic Operation and Function of Modern Sporting Rifles
  • Ammunition Selection, Handling, and Storage
  • etc.
  • Zeroing Procedures (iron sights and red dots)
  • Multiple Target Transitions
  • Cleaning and Maintenance Lessons
