Low / No Light Pistol Instructor

The objective of this course is for students to develop the skills and confidence required to instruct on prevailing with a weapon system in a reduced light environment.

Students will receive a full instructor packet to include extensive lesson plans, a PowerPoint, video, and relevant studies.

Prerequisites:

Must be a previously certified firearms instructor through the SECTOR 6 Academy Semi-Automatic Pistol Instructor course or certified through another nationally recognized instructor development program (5 days minimum). Call for clarification.

Protection:

Eyes and ears protection will be provided.

Outline/Content:

  • The Human Eye and how it works in Low/No Light
  • Survival Techniques with or without an alternative Light source
  • Selection of Low/No Light Equipment
  • etc.
